The National Council for Human Rights receives its accreditation certificate

The National Council for Human Rights ,NCHR, received a certificate of accreditation of grade "A" at the General Assembly of the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions, held in Geneva on the sidelines of the fortieth session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva.

On this occasion, Mohamed Fayek, NCHR President, has stressed that the Council obtained this accreditation as its work and activities are in line with Paris principles that stipulated the independence and credibility of national institutions for human rights.

The President of the National Council for Human Rights thanked the Council members and its General Secretariat for their hard work during the previous period, and urged them to exert more efforts to maintain this grade.

It is noteworthy that the Grade "A" is the highest rank and is only given to National Institutions for Human Rights that achieve complete compliance to Paris principles.
